Let's play a special Halloween round of "Never Have I Ever…" If you have ever experienced any of the following, you must eat a piece of candy.
Never have I ever wanted to learn more on a topic but didn’t have the time?
Never have I ever gone to a disengaging workshop on Engagement?
Never have I ever sat through a day-long workshop only to get information I needed in about 30 minutes?
You can blame me for that cavity you’ve just created. Just don’t send me the bill.

There are countless complications to participating in quality professional development. Learning shouldn’t be so difficult. The good news is that we have a great option that alleviates those hindrances. Let me introduce you to CMSLearns Network.
CMSLearns Network was developed to provide teachers and staff with a live and on-demand professional development tool. We want to create learning opportunities for educators that are convenient and fun. We cover topics that are relevant to audience with an enthusiasm teachers can appreciate.
We currently record three different types of videos that teachers can view.

Instructional Technology Weekly (ITW)
ITW is a weekly video where we share various technology tools and concepts that teachers can integrate into their lessons and we expose them to the learning possibilities these tools offer. Some of the topics we have covered included social media in education, learning management systems, Google Apps for Education and Pecha Kucha.

App of the Week
This is a weekly video designed to display the different apps our teachers can utilize in their classrooms. With the different devices we have in our district, it's important to uncover the apps our teachers can implement to maximize the use of their devices. We share apps from the Apple app store, the Chrome Web Store and the Windows Store. We have expanded the videos to include downloads for some of the applications of our devices (Google Add-Ons, chrome extensions, PowerPoint downloads).

Tech Minute
Tech Minute is a daily one minute how-to video series that shows how to complete a specific common task on an application. These will help our teachers navigate through some of the common applications they use on a daily basis.
